Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, Old Fruit Barn Leather began as a passion project in a converted stable — shaped by the quiet rhythm of rural life.
A lifelong connection to horses — from national and international competition to coaching riders and training ponies — all my experiences inform a way of working built on patience, trust, and durability. Living in Sherington with my family, ponies and barn cats, the countryside is woven into every piece that I work on. The business grew from a desire to embrace our way of life through craft, creating work that is both functional and enduring. Training began with the Worshipful Company of Saddlers Foundation Course at the Walsall Leather Skills Centre, under Christer Dahlberg, with skills continually refined through bespoke commissions.
Every piece is hand-finished using premium full-grain and vegetable-tanned leathers, made slowly and with care to last a lifetime.
